Aloha! Welcome to our life. We decided to create this site for family and friends whom we don't get to see very often. We live a fast-paced lifestyle and the children seem to grow bigger each day, changing in many ways. But before we get any deeper, why don't we introduce everyone, shall we? Jon, the dad, is a successful CPA working with a local firm here in Asheville. His work keeps him very busy and away from home sometimes but he enjoys his profession. He is a member of the bishopric in our ward for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Needless to say, that keeps him very busy also. In his spare time, which is rare, he enjoys golfing and playing with the kids.
Kahea, the mom, is busy daily taking care of the home and household. It's very time consuming with three very energetic children but she enjoys caring for the needs of her family. She also spends a lot of time volunteering at the kids' school. The teachers' sure do appreciate it. Kahea is the Activities Committee Chairman for church. It's the perfect calling for her, seeing how she loves to party every chance she gets. And yes, the ward has had many parties this year. She's looking forward to the planning and preparation for the party of the year, the annual ward Christmas party.
Kanoe is 10 years old and is in the fourth grade. She is an honor roll student and likes being challenged in her studies. She's involved with the Achievement Girls' program in church and loves it so much. She played soccer this Fall season with ABYSA and did pretty well. Her hobbies include reading, computer, crafting, Sudoku, singing, playing with her Nintendo DS Lite, and playing with her siblings. Kanoe is growing into a beautiful girl. She has a keen eye for fashion...so Hannah Montana!
Kalei is 6 years old and in the first grade. She loves school and does very well in all subjects and is an honor roll student as well. She's loved by everyone in her class but she is more of a tom-boy so she enjoys hanging with the boys. She played soccer this season and made 3 goals. She was very excited about it. Her hobbies include drawing, reading, sports, dancing, singing, and playing with her siblings. She's athletic, talented, and dramatic and just a beautiful little girl.
And last but not least, Ikaika! He has definitely brought excitement to the family. He is Jon's "Mini Me". Ikaika loves to watch football and will yell at you if you change the t.v. channel. He points and screams at the t.v. if he thinks the play was bad. He's 19 months old and attends nursery at church. He has yet to stay by himself without mommy. That'll be the day... Ikaika is labeled "the cool baby" by the youth at church. He gives them "pounds" as he passes through the halls. He rolls his eyes when he thinks they're crazy. Ikaika is definitely a mama's boy but whenever daddy's around, mommy does not exist. He's so much fun to have around.
Well, that's our family in a nut shell! We hope you enjoy our family photo album. Thanks for visiting. Aloha a hui hou.
